"I have taken IELTS for 4 times before and I have been to private English high school. But somehow I was keep failing and failing. Whether I was lazy or the program was not that good. I have got 6.5 for 3 times and the last one I have taken 7 on IELTS. It was a really tiny improvement. It is actually crazy to think about how much material I have read and how much writing I have done. But my improvement were never visible in front of my own eyes. Your class was one of the most effective class. You knew how to make the students engaged during the class. It almost feels like you know exactly where to focus on more and how to improve that. I would not say I got the best in writing and reading. There are still things that I need to work on more but I can definitely say that I have improved a lot thanks to you. I have few absences to my other classes but my attendance was somehow 100% in this class without any tiredness. Maybe it is because you understand us. I think I wanted to keep the 100% itself and somehow it made me feel accomplished. For me, EIL 317 class taught me a lot. Thank you so much for your hard work. "The strength of this course is the teacher himself, not kidding! Dr. Pack is the best teacher, this course is really hard for both the native and non-native students but Dr. Pack did a really good job of explaining things simply. He builds up a good rapport and makes students feel safe to ask questions in his class. Another thing that I like about him is he will tailor the needs of students and change the way he teaches according to students' abilities. In our class we have a mix-ability class however are able to adjust this hard course to each student. He did not just give us assignment to do but give us meaningful assignment so we can really learn from this course. He knows what he is teaching, and he know what his purpose as a teacher!! Also willing to use his personal time to help each student!"

I love everything about this class but I think it would be better if you can give more time like two days for writing paragraphs.
